The revolutionary ultra-compact ION / CME N Series digital drives join the family of ION Digital Drives of the American company PMD, a leading manufacturer of integrated circuits, modules and boards for motion control.

ION digital drives are intelligent drives that enable high performance motion control, connectivity and power amplification.

The N Series is equipped with a patented and ultra robust package to integrate on the PCB. The available power levels are 75, 300 and 1,000 watts.

All ION / CME N Series digital drives support step motors, brushless DC and brushed DC motors. The available communication buses include Ethernet, CAN, RS232, RS485 and SPI (Serial Peripheral Interconnect) and support quadrature, sine / cosine and BiSS-C encoders.

The core of every N-Series ION / CME digital drive is the Magellan PMD motion control IC, which ensures software compatibility and ensures high performance and reliability.

N Series IONs are fully programmable and perform profile generation, servo PID compensation, direct encoder input, stall detection, field orientation control and many other functions

They are ideal for creating integrated control solutions in medical applications, mobile systems, scientific equipment, semiconductor machines and many other automation applications.
