The last weekend the Formula 3 Championship arrived at the Monza circuit for the exciting races of Euroformula Open series.

RP Motorsport, the italian team sponsored by Garnet, won again, making a serious claim on victory of the fourth consecutive constructors’ title.
Even for the drivers’ title, the victory at Monza gave a substantial advantage to Vitor Baptista, the young Brazilian RP Motorsport driver.

The Italian round of the championship has been the scene of numerous twists, starting from Race 1 on Saturday, in which the Japanese Yu Kanamaru of Race team took pole ahead of Vitor Baptista (RP Motorsport) and Konstantin Tereschenko (Campos Racing), both in contention for the drivers’ title.
The Japanese rider, however, did not take advantage of the front row start, being passed during the first lap from Baptista and Tereschenko, who battled for the top spot throughout the race.
At the end the Brazilian won, gaining important points for the championship.
Russian Tereshchenko finished second, but has slipped to third place through a suspension of 5 ” obtained by walking out of the track.

Tereshchenko has tried to make better on Sunday in Race 2, scoring pole position, with rival Baptista relegated to seventh place. But the race has been surprising as usual, with the withdrawal of Terschenko on lap three and the great recovery of Baptista, who clocked the fastest lap and climbed positions up to second on the podium entirely occupied by RP Motorsport.
First Damiano Fioravanti, the young Italian rider who won on his home circuit, second Vitor Baptista and third the Polish rookie Igor Walilko.

RP Motorsport’s victory has been the best gift for the 18th birthday of the team, waiting for the last stage in Barcelona where the titles will be decided. After the great performance of Monza, RP Motorsport and Garnet are on the verge of victory. Here all the standings
