The Tamagawa Smartcoder® are R/D converters that convert resolver analog signals reliably and precisely into digital position angle signals.
The range of Smartcoder® is now enhanced by new high performance model AUA6800 which is able to manage the signals coming from several type of configurations such as BRX; BRT; BRS; VRX; VRT and VRS.
Some of the main technical characteristics:
- Resolution of 16bit
- Triple redundancy
- Serial and parallel output and encoder simulation up to 8.192 counts/turn
- Power supply 3.3Vdc
- Very compact package 48 pin TQFP (7mm x 7mm)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C up to +125°C
- Error detection function and self test integrated
Upon request is it available the relevant Evaluation Board AUA6900 which helps the R&D engineers in quickly learning the new R/D converter AUA6800 thus shortening the time to market of the final product.
