Great excitement at the Autodromo di Monza, which over the weekend hosted the Formula 3 races of the Euroformula Open championship.
The italian team RP Motorsport, sponsored by Garnet, was confirmed as the undisputed leader of the season 2014, winning both the Constructors and the Drivers Championship with a game to spare, thanks to the triumph on its home circuit.
In the temple of the speed of Monza, the team from Piacenza/Brianza dominated Race 1 (Saturday), as well as Race 2 (Sunday): in both sessions first and second place for the RP Motorsport drivers Sandy Stuvik and Artur Janosz.
Stuvik imposed his own pace since qualifying, getting two pole positions. He then capped a fantastic season with two perfect races, marking the record of 6 wins in a row, for a total of 10 season wins.
The double success has allowed the young thai driver to reach the coveted final triumph, the drivers title he had only touched upon last year by finishing second during his debut in the category.
Good performance also for teammate Janosz: the polish driver has won key points for his team thanks to two excellent second places, which assured him the place of honor next to Stuvik on the legendary suspended podium of Monza.
For RP Motorsport and Garnet this is the third consecutive Constructors Title, which could not be celebrated in a best way that in the home paddock.
