Motors for pellet stoves
A pellet stove is a clean and ecological heating system, in which the production of hot air takes place through the combustion of pellets, usually obtained from wood processing waste.
Pellets, before coming into contact with the flame and burning, are taken and dropped into a burner by a screw conveyor. This screw conveyor is driven by a gear motor, the component which, through rotation, supplies the combustion chamber with pellets, allowing the flame to be constantly kept alive.
Shielded pole AC motors by SPG
SPG’s AC motors with shielded poles are ideal for biomass plants, stoves and pellet boilers.
SPG’s shielded pole motors are single-phase 2-pole asynchronous motors with a single winding; they do not require an external condenser and are unidirectional.
We have gear motors from 0.9 Rpm up to 80 Rpm with power up to 72 Watts
The SG series gearboxes guarantee operation up to the maximum torque of 34Nm with speeds starting from 0.9 Rpm.
SPG pellet stove motors are available with output shaft and hollow shaft. Depending on the application need, it is possible to customize the transmission shaft.
