Ezi-Servo II EtherCAT is a drive system for stepper motor with closed loop control using the EtherCAT communication protocol, the high speed field bus (100 Mbps full duplex).

 

 

In this video Ezi-Servo II EtherCAT is used to operate a 5-axis robot arm Robotlink IGUS, in a closed loop stepping system with embedded controller.
